DESCRIPTIONCommissioned by Rotten Menu for a Stanford D School PhD project, this educational zine and poster were scoped to engage the ferment-curious in the science of food fermentation.

Through clear illustrations and diagrams, the zine and flavor wheel can be used “as [guides] to trying fermented foods, allowing for a deeper engagement and mindful consumption of fermented foods” (Source: Rotten Menu). The design style for the zine and poster was developed according to the Rotten Menu brand guidelines and maintained a fun and accessible appearance.

The zine and poster had a limited production run in 2022 and could be found at Queens SF and Alimentari Aurora.
